Your thoughts determine your action taking a pen and writing is a thought likewise a mind that decides to die forgetting that no problem on earth is new and can be resolved when you invite Jesus Christ into your life to help. Peradventure you are in the situation that you have become so frustrated and you want to end your life would implore you that before you take that decision try Jesus Christ by casting all unto his shoulders .

Dutch seek BUK missile witnesses in MH17 crash probe

The Hague (AFP) - Dutch and international experts probing the MH17 plane crash in eastern Ukraine appealed Monday for witnesses who saw the transport or firing of a BUK surface-to-air missile around the time of the disaster.

"Investigators are looking at all scenarios. One of these scenarios is that the plane was shot down at 4:20 pm local time on July 17," the Dutch public prosecutor's office said in a statement.Given this scenario, investigators are looking for witnesses who can tell more about the transport, crew and launch of a BUK rocket in the area in the days before and after the crash," it said.

All 298 people on board the Malaysia Airlines jetliner -- the majority of them Dutch -- died when it was shot down over war-torn eastern Ukraine last year.

The Netherlands has been charged with leading the investigation into the cause of the incident and identifying the dead.

Dutch authorities are also in charge of the criminal investigation into the crash, which occurred at a time of fierce fighting between Ukraine's army and pro-Russian separatists.

Kiev and the West have claimed that the Boeing 777 was shot down by the separatists, using a BUK surface-to-air missile supplied by Russia. Moscow denies the charges, pointing the finger at Kiev.

Prosecutors stressed "this call for witnesses does not mean there is incontrovertible proof to what caused the crash."

Iran nuclear talks continue as Tuesday deadline looms

Talks on Iran's nuclear programme have entered a critical phase, with negotiators making last-ditch efforts to reach a preliminary deal before the March 31 deadline.
Top diplomats from Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States and Germany – collectively known as P5 1 - are meeting with Iranian officials in the Swiss city of Lausanne to try to bridge remaining gaps and hammer out the framework deal that would be the basis for a final accord to be reached by the end of June.
But Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday he was leaving the talks and would return the following day if there is a realistic chance of a deal, a spokeswoman said, raising doubts on chances of reaching an agreement on Monday.
"Probably if there is a realistic chance of a deal tomorrow [Tuesday] he will come back," foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told reporters in Lausanne.

For weeks, US Secretary of State John Kerry and his Iranian counterpart, Mohammad Javad Zarif, have been meeting in an intense effort to reach a political understanding on terms that would curb Iran's nuclear activities in exchange for sanctions relief.
"We're working hard, very hard", Kerry told Al Jazeera on Monday. 
Kerry's spokeswoman Marie Harf said there was a 50/50 chance the parties would succeed in getting a deal on Tuesday.
Senior Iranian negotiator Abbas Araqchi said various proposals were still being discussed.
"Still, we cannot say we are close to resolving the remaining issues," he told reporters on Monday.
"We hope to reach a conclusion tonight or tomorrow, but it is not guaranteed and we have a difficult way to go."
Officials say the sides have made some progress, with Iran considering demands for further cuts to its uranium enrichment programme but pushing back on how long it must limit technology it could use to make atomic arms.
 

But sticking points on research and development remain, as well as differences on the timing and scope of sanctions removal, officials cited by the Associated Press news agency said.
The officials in Lausanne said the sides were advancing on limits to aspects of Iran's programme to enrich uranium, which can be used to make the core of a nuclear warhead.  
Tehran has said it is willing to address concerns about its stockpiles of enriched uranium, although it has denied that will involve shipping it out of the country, as some western officials have said. One official said on Monday that Iran might deal with the issue by diluting its stocks to a level that would not be weapons grade.
A senior State Department official said that shipping the stockpile is one of the "viable options that have been under discussion for months ... but resolution is still being discussed."
Meanwhile, Israel, which is at loggerheads with Iran, said the deal being negotiated was worse than it feared.
"I expressed our deep concern towards this deal emerging with Iran in the nuclear talks, this deal as it appears to be emerging bears out all of our fears, and even more than that," said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israel and the US insist Tehran is seeking to build a nuclear bomb, but Tehran says its nuclear programme is intended for power generation.

Alps crash: Lubitz 'had treatment for suicidal tendencies

The co-pilot of the crashed Germanwings planeAndreas Lubitz, had received treatment for suicidal tendencies before getting his pilot licence, investigators say, but not recently.
Lubitz, 27, is suspected of deliberately crashing the plane in the Alps, killing all 150 people on board.
Officials in Duesseldorf said the investigation to this point had revealed no clue to any motive.
So far, DNA strands of 80 of the victims have been found.
Duesseldorf public prosecutor Christoph Kumpa said that "several years" before Lubitz became a pilot he "had at that time been in treatment of a psychotherapist because of what is documented as being suicidal".
But he added: "In the following period, and until recently, further doctor's visits took place, resulting in sick notes without any suicidal tendencies or aggression against others being recorded."
No specific dates were given. Lubitz enrolled in training with Lufthansa, which owns Germanwings, in 2008 and became a pilot in 2013. He was diagnosed with a serious depressive episode in 2009 and received treatment for a year and a half, media reports say

Many dead in 'air strike on north Yemen refugee camp'

At least 40 people have been killed in an attack on a camp for internally displaced people in north Yemen, as a Saudi-led coalition continued to strike Houthi targets around the country for a fifth day.
Several sources said an air strike on Monday struck the Al-Mazraq camp in the northwestern province of Hajjah, close to the Saudi border, but Yemen's foreign minister, Riyadh Yasin, insisted it was caused by Houthi artillery fire.
Pablo Marco, the manager of the Doctors Without Borders (MSF) programme in the Middle East said: "It was an air strike," adding that dozens of Yemenis were injured.

Air Canada plane crash lands at Halifax airport

twenty-three people were injured when an Air Canada jet struck an antenna and crash landed as it attempted to touch down in heavy snow at Halifax airport early Sunday.

All but one of the injured were later released from hospital following the incident, which came just five days after a pilot killed himself and 149 others when he slammed his Germanwings plane into the French Alps.

Like the doomed Germanwings flight, the Air Canada plane involved in Sunday's incident was an Airbus A320.

Flight AC624 from Toronto "exited runway upon landing at Halifax," the airline said on Twitter, and pictures showed the nose of the plane sliced off, its landing gear collapsed and at least one engine badly mangled.

Passengers said the plane had circled over the airport before coming in to land and had "bounced" upon impact, shortly after midnight.

Investigators were probing what caused the incident, but heavy snow was falling in the eastern Canadian city and Environment Canada had issued a snowfall alert, warning of low visibility.

Transportation Safety Board investigator Mike Cunningham told a press conference the plane had struck an antenna array approximately 350 meters (1,150 feet) before the start of the runway.

The collision caused "significant damages to the aircraft," he said, ripping off the landing gear.

Arab League unveils joint military force amid Yemen crisis

A two-day Arab summit ended Sunday with a vow to defeat Iranian-backed Shiite rebels in Yemen and the formal unveiling of plans to form a joint Arab intervention force, setting the stage for a potentially dangerous clash between U.S.-allied Arab states and Tehran over influence in the region.

Arab leaders taking turns to address the gathering spoke repeatedly of the threat posed to the region's Arab identity by what they called moves by "foreign" or "outside parties" to stoke sectarian, ethnic or religious rivalries in Arab states — all thinly-veiled references to Iran, which has in recent years consolidated its hold in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and now Yemen.

The summit's final communique made similarly vague references, but the Arab League chief, Nabil Elaraby, was unequivocal during a news conference later, singling out Iran for what he said was its intervention "in many nations."

A summit resolution said the newly unveiled joint Arab defense force would be deployed at the request of any Arab nation facing a national security threat and that it would also be used to combat terrorist groups

The agreement came as U.S. and other Western diplomats were pushing to meet a Tuesday deadline to reach a deal with Iran that would restrict its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions.

The Saudis and their allies in the Gulf fear that a nuclear deal between Washington and Tehran will free Iran's hands to bolster its influence in places like Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and in Sunni-ruled Bahrain, which has a Shiite majority. They believe the air campaign in Yemen and a joint Arab force would empower them to stand up to what they see as Iran's bullying. The United States has sought to offer reassurances that a nuclear deal does not mean that Washington will abandon them, but they remain skeptical.e Houthis swept down from their northern strongholds last year and captured Yemen's capital, Sanaa, in September. Embattled Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, a close U.S. ally against a powerful local al-Qaida affiliate, first fled to the southern city of Aden before fleeing the country last week as the rebels closed in.

Speaking at the summit on Saturday, Hadi accused Iran of being behind the Houthi offensive, raising the specter of a regional conflict. Iran and the Houthis deny that Tehran arms the rebel movement, though both acknowledge the Islamic Republic is providing humanitarian and other aid.

On Sunday, the Saudi ambassador to the U.S., Adel al-Jubeir, said the Lebanese Hezbollah militia was also supporting the Houthis. The Saudi-led campaign, he said on NBC's "Meet the Press," is to protect Yemen's "legitimate government from a group that is allied and supported by Iran and Hezbollah."

A Saudi-led coalition began bombing Yemen on Thursday, saying it was targeting the Houthis and their allies, which include forces loyal to Yemen's former leader, Ali Abdullah Saleh. Yemeni military officials have said the campaign could pave the way for a possible ground invasion, a development that Egyptian military officials say would likely commence after the airstrikes significantly diminish the military capabilities of the Houthis and their allies.

Yemen's foreign minister, Riad Yassin, said the air campaign, code-named Operation Decisive Storm, had prevented the rebels from using the weaponry they seized to attack Yemeni cities or to target neighboring Saudi Arabia with missiles. It also stopped Iran's supply line to the rebels, he told a news conference Sunday.

Military experts will decide when and if a ground operation is needed, Yassin said. "This is a comprehensive operation and (any ground offensive) will depend on the calculations of the military," he said.

Meanwhile, Pakistan dispatched a plane Sunday to the Yemeni city of Hodeida, to try to evacuate some 500 citizens gathered there, said Shujaat Azim, an adviser to Pakistan's prime minister. Azim told state-run Pakistan Television more flights would follow as those controlling Yemen's airports allowed them. Pakistan says some 3,000 of its citizens live in Yemen.

Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj also tweeted Sunday: "We are doing everything to evacuate our people from Yemen at the earliest by all routes — land, sea and air.

Magnitude 7.5 earthquake hits Papua New Guinea

  A major earthquake with a magnitude 7.5 struck off Papua New Guinea and a tsunami warning was issued soon after.
The epicentre of Monday morning's quake was near the town of Rabaul in the northeast of Papua New Guinea, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said. The monitor initally reported a 7.7 magnitude earthquake but later downgraded it to 7.5.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii said "hazardous tsunami waves are possible for coasts located within 1,000 km of the earthquake epicentre along the coasts of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands".
The powerful quake struck at a depth of 40km and was followed by two further offshore earthquakes in the vicinity which measured 5.7 and 5.0 respectively.

I read the Bible over and over again and never came across the word easter . Where did the easter celebration originate from? Easter is the name of a  sun goddess the Egyptians were idol worshippers hence when the Israelites were waiting for Moses they formed a calf god and said it was the calf that brought them out of Egypt, there were magicians and sorcerer which the Isrealites were used to so it was very difficult for them to leave idolatry, with this singular act God destroyed the Israelites the same day . God is a jealous God as human beings , as trivial as it seems as a couple you are sometime jealous if your spouse is very friendly with an opposite sex so God being jealous over His creation is wonderful but where exactly did the celebration start from and how come every religion has accepted what is not written in the Bible ?Why is the name of Easter after a goddess?
Easter is meant to be a celebration after the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead commerating the last supper and feet washing but did Jesus Christ instruct the we should celebrate  ?
The mandate after the resurrection of Jesus Christ was evangelism , making disciples, healing and setting the captives free using the name of Jesus Christ which is the purpose of His suffering on the cross of calvary

Remembering the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ must be an everday reflection bringing out zeal and performing what will make Jesus Christ happy which is evangelism while on earth Jesus Christ went about healing , setting demon possessed free, preaching about the kingdom of God.
Why is the name easter after a goddess because in the physical eyes it seem an harmless doctrine that has no biblical foundation but in reality it is the celebration of the goddess .Demons are not fools they know that if the say today is cebration of the sun no Christian would celebrate but when it is package on the camoulage of Jesus due to ignorance or spiritual blindness they would be involved in idolatry on the last day Jesus Christ will tell many I dont know you , you can claim to be a child of God and celebrate a goddess it doesnt edify.
We live in the last day and your focus must be on evangelising which can be done without making the foundation based on idol . God hates the celebration of Easter .Wondering why certain prayer points are not answered when Jesus Christ said that whatever you ask , will be given can be traced back to idolatry , certain stronghold have refused to leave your life because of idolatry .Idolatry is not only when you worship snakes, rats , cow, but  celebrate  a doctrine that the foundation is based on a god is idolatry .

Evangelist Benny Hinn Released from the Hospital

Evangelist Benny Hinn has been released from the hospital one week after being admitted for heart problems related to atrial fibrillation.

Hinn, 62 was cleared to go home late Friday night. He expressed deep gratitude to his doctors, family, and supporters around world for his medical care and the prayer on his behalf.

"I've seen the hand of God at work, both through prayer and the physicians," Hinn said. "God is faithful. My heart is strong. I have no heart damage. My arteries are not blocked. There is no arterial damage."

"The AFib is being treated effectively, and my rapid heart rate has reduced considerably," he contineud. "I'm feeling stronger every day. The prognosis is good for a speedy and complete recuperation, and I'm so glad to be heading home to continue my road to recovery."

Benny Hinn Ministries spokesman Ronn Torossian said hundreds of leaders and ministers around the world xpressed their love and support for the evangelists during his hospital stay.

"It has been a literal flood of tributes, well-wishes, and expressions of love for a man who has traveled around the globe non-stop for over 40 years," Torossian said. "I know the latest report of Pastor Benny's release to go home will be welcome news for all."

Pilgrims flock to Colombian hillside after face of JESUS appears in a mudslide

Landowners in the area are cashing in on the "miraculous" happening by charging people to view what they are claiming is the face of Christ in the mud.

The bizarre image emerged in the San Francisco area of Putumayo, Colombia, on Saturday.

Witness Ximena Rosero Arango told Colombian newspaper El Tiempo: "If you believe in Jesus, you will see your image."

Catholicism is the main religion of Colombia, with an esteemed 75 per cent of the population practising it.

This is not the first time the holy figure has apparently been spotted.

Images of Jesus have also emerged on frying pans, on lamp posts, in tree trunks and even recently in a dog's ear.

Even more popular are images of Jesus in food - crisps, banana peel, toast, pizza and marmite.

SERVING GOD VERY HARD

Either you are a christian or not , we all can affirm that life is a battlefield, there is always something to think about as a teenager you worry about your future,the choice you make today will affect your future as an adult you are worried about children, husband/wife, expenses , health the list just seem endless but in all the hustle you either believe there is God or not , then you either believe in Jesus Christ or not but all the above would not count if you believe in God, Jesus Christ but your thought way of life is totally contrary to the commandement of God.
 It is so difficult to serve God in the world we live in are words uttered  but is it really hard? Either you take the narrow or broad path there will always be the troubles of life but the only difference is that individuals that take the narrow path never lack any good thing because the path they take though narrow remembering that it is only few  allows the Spirit of Truth to lead them , when you are on a narrow path you are focused , determined to reach your destination .
The secret of the narrow path can only be revealed when you take that path , how can you be on a path that has light and miss your route? It is  impossible .Serving God will become hard if as an individual you already have the mindset that it is hard then really it will be hard . Love of God will keep you serving Him with zeal when all you lay your hands on prosper . The path of broad cannot be elaborated on because my route has been diverted but when I was there in the past will enable me testify that initially it was pleasant but there was a consequence and it is dark gradally it gets deeper and deeper.

Doctor: Benny Hinn Did Not Have a Heart Attack

Benny Hinn's doctor is refuting reports that the 62-year-old evangelist suffered a heart attack last week.

CBN News recently reported that the evangelist had been admitted to the hospital for heart problems March 20 after an outreach in Brazil.

Hinn's oldest daughter, Jessica Hinn-Koulianos, said in a statement that he was battling fatigue and having a hard time breathing.

"For those of you who know my dad, you know that he never stops; so when he spent over a week in bed, we knew something was wrong," she wrote in a letter posted to the Benny Hinn Ministries website.

Now Charisma Magazine reports they've spoken with Hinn and his doctor and confirmed that he did not have a heart attack, saying tests showed his heart was "strong and free of plaque."

However, doctors did have to shock his heart to reset the rhythm. The procedure was successful.

"So today's a good day. We turned a corner and even the doctor said we're out of the critical stage now," Koulianos told Charisma.

"They're going to send him home to rest. Today was a good day. I told him God answered all our prayers," she said.

In a letter Hinn wrote from the medical center, he told supporters, "I'm feeling stronger every day, and I expect to be released very soon."

Death is evitable for everyone but our exit out of the world is totally unknown to each one of us as an individual my wish is to sleep and exit the world.
This life journey is temporary and would end one day but in that second what do you do ? Nobody is immune to death but your relationship with your maker is very paramount sometimes it happens so fast that there would be no chance to repent .
Now that you are alive ensure you have committed your body soul and spirit into the hands of God as the Lord has spoken to me on the 31ST DEEMBER2014 as regards events of this year is a year of turbulence but not for His children just in case God calls you home now , your assurance of eternity is guaranted.

Popular miracle-working faith healer and televangelist, Benny Hinn, 62, is now recovering in a hospital after suffering a heart attack after an overseas trip and his family is asking for prayers.
Hinn's daughter, Jessica Hinn Koulianos, made the revelation in a message on the Benny Hinn Ministries website late Monday evening.
"Recently he (Hinn) returned to California after ministering to crowds of over 100,000 people in Brazil, including over 2,000 pastors and leaders from all over South America. It was truly a remarkable nation-shaking event. And while it was a rewarding journey, after he arrived home he suddenly began battling fatigue and shortness of breath. God gives life and takes life,you cannot control your life when death comes knocking .where will your soul go after this ,please think deeply  no one knows the last meal,drink ,phone conversation before death visit secure your soul just in case there is God but I can testify to you that there is God and judgement after this life

Passenger Plane Crashes In Southern France

A passenger plane has crashed in France, with all 148 people on board thought to have died.

The Airbus A320, operated by Lufthansa's Germanwings budget airline, came down in the southern French Alps between Barcelonnette and Digne.

Flight 4U 9525 was en route from Barcelona to Dusseldorf.
France's President Francois Hollande said there were likely to be "no survivors" and that he expected a significant number of German casualties.

"It's a tragedy on our soil," he said.

"There were 148 people on board. The conditions of the accident, which have not yet been clarified, lead us to think there are no survivors."
France's Interior Ministry said debris had been located at an altitude of 2,000 metres.

Eric Ciotti, the head of the regional council, said search-and-rescue teams were on the way to the crash site at Meolans-Revels.It's a tragedy on our soil," he said.

He said he had activated the ministerial crisis cell to help coordinate the aftermath of the crash. He added that he had sent Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve to the site.
Lufthansa wrote on its Twitter page: "We do not yet know what has happened to flight 4U 9525. My deepest sympathy goes to the families and friends of our passengers and crew on 4U 9525.
"If our fears are confirmed, this is a dark day for Lufthansa. We hope to find survivors."
Germanwings says it cannot confirm the reports. Airbus says it is "assessing" the situation.
Captain Mike Vivian, former Head of Flight Operations at the Civil Aviation Authority, told Sky News the A320 had a relatively good safety record.

“German Wings is a very competent company given it is owned by the main German flag-carrier and it flies basically short-haul routes," he said.

“The Airbus A320 is a successful aeroplane and has been around for over 20 years.

When you are called by God , impatience has lead to mushroom churches , many individuals are called  but the time for them to be announced to the world hasnt be ordained yet, no wonder we have so many general overseers, apostles, bishop, power with the HOLY Spirit is very important either as an individual or whom God has called into His vineyard .

But why do you need the power if the Holy Spirit is dwelling in me? When the Holy Spirit dwells in you there is the evidence of speaking in diverse tongues but without this power the enemy will keep tossing that person up and down because you are not sure of the effect of the power in you. There are individuals that speak in diverse tongues yet are backbitters, jealous, envious . The power raised Jesus Christ from the dead, the same power entered Mary and she gave birth to Jesus Christ .

ISIS: Yemen Attack 'Glimpse of an Upcoming Flood'

A Yemeni branch of the Islamic State is claiming responsibility for a quadruple suicide bombing in Yemen that left at least 137 people dead and more than 300 wounded.

The bombings took place during midday prayers Friday at two mosques controlled by Shiite Houthi rebels in the capital city of Sana'a.

One witness said one of the terrorists walked inside the mosque and detonated a bomb. That explosion was soon followed by another.

"I fell on the ground and when I regained consciousness I found myself lying in a lake of blood," one survivor, Ahmed al-Gabri, told The Associated Press.

In a statement posted online Friday, a  group calling itself the media office of ISIS's "Sanaa Province" warned Friday's devastation was just a "glimpse of an upcoming flood, God willing."

"We swear to avenge the blood of Muslims and the toppling of houses of God," the group vowed.

"The soldiers of the Islamic State ... will not rest until we have uprooted (the Houthis), repelled their aggression, and cut off the arm of the Iranian project in Yemen," it said, referring to claims that Iran is backing the rebels.

According to investigators, the group's claims haven't yet been confirmed.

Multiple casualties in north India train derailment

Six people were killed and 40 others injured when three coaches of a train derailed in Uttar Pradesh, northern India. The injured people have been admitted to nearby hospitals.
Conflicting reports suggest there are more fatalities from the derailment than officially stated.

. Several people are also feared trapped in the wreckage, and rescue workers, along with villagers, have been trying to locate and rescue them.
The Janta express train 1422 was traveling from Dehradun to Varanasi. “One engine and two coaches have been derailed,” according to Chief PR officer Neeraj Sharma, as quoted by IBN media outlet. wo lakh rupees (about $3,000) would be provided to the families of those killed, while 50,000 rupees (about $800) would be given to relatives of those injured in the derailment, according to a statement from the office of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. The cause of the derailment remains unknown, but authorities suspect that the brakes of the engine failed, International Business Times reported

Renouncing Islam: Danish anti-immigration party suggest ‘grotesque’ program

The Danish People's Party has proposed a controversial nationwide program of assisting Muslims who want to renounce their religion. However, the ruling coalition wants the Danish state to distance itself from religious issues.
The opposition Danish People’s Party (DF), which according to a recent poll has 19.6 percent of voter support, has proposed that the Danish government could offer help to those Muslims who would like to abandon their religion but are afraid of threats and backlash from Islamist fanatics.
“We have seen many examples of people wanting to leave Islam but having a hard time doing it or not daring to do it because they fear reprisals from certain groups within the Muslim communities of Denmark. This is a way in which we can begin doing something about it,” the DF immigration spokesperson Martin Henriksen told Politiken, as cited by the Local.
Henriksen stressed the program is not going to be obtrusive and will only offer help to those who request it – those who “live a double life because they don’t dare to leave the religioneople shouldn’t directly be offered an exit. One should make the decision oneself. And if one decides that they no longer want to be there, there should be a place to go to get support,” Politiken cited Henriksen as saying. ”One of our time's great challenges is the threat from Islamism and the pressure on freedom rights that have built up over many years,” Martin Henriksen said earlier.

The idea of such a program has found a degree support among Venstre, Denmark’s primary opposition party.
“We should help the young people who are repressively forced to remain in an environment they don’t want to be a part of. Ukraine crisis: EU links Russia sanctions to truce deal

European Union leaders have agreed to keep sanctions on Russia in place until the end of this year at the earliest.

The sanctions, imposed because of Russia's alleged military intervention in Ukraine, are now linked to "complete implementation" of a ceasefire deal.
Last month's deal envisages Ukraine regaining full control of its eastern border with Russia by the end of 2015.
The sanctions target major firms and political figures close to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
They are unable to get Western loans and their travel is restricted.
Pressure on RussiaDonetsk and Luhansk regions. The EU sanctions were imposed last July and were due to expire after a year.
A formal decision to extend the measures must still be made, and is expected in the summer.
Both Ukraine's military and the rebels accuse each other of repeated shelling, but the fragile ceasefire agreed in Minsk, Belarus, is largely holding.
More than 6,000 people have died since the fighting in eastern Ukraine erupted last April, the UN estimates.
The Kiev government, Western leaders and Nato say there is clear evidence that Russia has helped the rebels with troops and heavy weapons. Russia denies that, insisting that any Russians on the rebel side are "volunteers".
The clashes began a month after Russia annexed Ukraine's southern Crimea peninsula.
'Political weapon' In Brussels, the leaders also agreed to make gas contracts with Russia more transparent, to avoid pricing disputes which have bedevilled such contracts in the past.
Many East European states in the EU rely heavily on Russian gas supplies. But the European Commission is investigating Russia's Gazprom monopoly, suspecting it of overcharging for gas.
Mr Tusk said it was "unhelpful" that most bilateral gas contracts with Russia were long-term, sometimes agreed for 20 years.
That timescale gives Russia much leverage, and Mr Tusk said gas must no longer be used as "a political weapon".
Ukraine is a key transit country for Russian gas deliveries to Europe, and previous price disputes have led to shortages, threatening the EU's energy security.
It is not yet clear how the EU Commission will monitor future gas deals with Russia, to check compliance with EU law. The leaders stressed that confidentiality must still be respected for commercial contracts.
In a further effort to curb the Russian state's influence in Europe, the leaders instructed EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini to draw up a strategy to counter Russian "disinformation campaigns".
There are fears that the Kremlin is stepping up propaganda to influence opinion in former communist bloc countries, including the Baltic states, which have large ethnic Russian minorities.
The sanctions decision was agreed at an EU summit in Brussels.

Boko Haram 'slaughter wives' in NE Nigeria: witnesses

Maiduguri (Nigeria) (AFP) - Dozens of Nigerian women who were forced to marry Boko Haram fighters were reportedly slaughtered by their "husbands" before a battle with troops in the northeast town of Bama, multiple witnesses said Thursday.

Five witnesses who recounted the massacres to AFP said the Islamist militants feared they would be killed by advancing soldiers or separated from their wives when they fled the town

They killed the women to prevent them from subsequently marrying soldiers or other so-called non-believers, they added.

"The terrorists said they will not allow their wives to be married to infidels," said Sharifatu Bakura, 39, a mother of three.

Nigeria's military along with forces from neighbouring Cameroon, Chad and Niger have claimed huge victories over the insurgents in recent weeks but defenceless civilians still face serious threatsThe insurgents had decided to flee to the nearby town of Gwoza before the troops' arrival but first decided "to kill their wives so that nobody will remarry them", she said.

Police in Tunisia moved to arrest nine people in connection with a terrorist attack on a museum as a British woman was named as one of the 20 tourists killed.

Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil), the jihadi group that has established a self-styled caliphate in Syria and Iraq, claimed responsibility for Thursday’s attack, in which two gunmen armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles fired indiscriminately at tourists inside the National Bardo Museum in Tunis, wounding dozens.

The British woman who died was identified as Sally Adey, 58, a retired solicitor and married mother of two from Shropshire.

The raid shocked Tunisia, regarded as a bastion of moderate Islam and the only success story to emerge from the so-called Arab Spring, and raised fears that it could cripple the country’s vital tourism sector.

Isil praised the two gunmen, who were shot dead by police, in an audio recording in Arabic, calling them “knights of the Islamic State”.
The dead terrorists, who were dressed in sweatshirts and trainers, were identified as Hatem al-Khashnawi and Yassin al-Abidi, both reportedly Tunisian.
Abidi had spent time in Iraq and Libya, according to Tunisian media reports.
He was known to the authorities but “not for anything very special”, said Habib Essid, the Tunisian prime minister. “Their affiliation is not clear at the moment,” he added.
The authorities said that four of the people arrested had direct links to the assault, while the other five had an indirect connection.
Hundreds of people gathered outside the locked gates of the Bardo Museum, renowned for its collection of Roman mosaics, to protest against the attack, voicing sympathy for the victims and concern for their country’s future.

Total solar eclipse explained in 90 seconds

Parts of northern Europe will experience a rare solar eclipse on the morning of Friday 20 March.
The far north will experience a total eclipse of the Sun, as the Moon casts a shadow onto the surface of the Earth.
But a lot of places further south will also get a taste of the rare spectacleIn Manchester the first phase of the eclipse will start at around 8.45am on Friday, the moment the moon will begin to obscure the sun.
By 9.30am the partial eclipse will reach its most dramatic phase with 90 per cent of the sun obscured.
After that point the moon will appear to move away from the sun and the eclipse will slowly peter out until it final ends at around 10.30am.

Prosperity has diffrent meanings , a wealthy man who has all the money in the world yet is battling with a disease that has defiled medical help though rich but in the area of healthy he or she is poor .Naaman was a very wealthy general but was a leper there was a challenge in his life likewise the woman with the issue of blood, she spent all her money seeking medical solution as the saying goes that health is wealth which I agree with , when you have money to buy food but lack appetite is poverty.

But when you look around very well what is seen is that  children of God not very wealthy compared to the unbelievers , no luxury car when a child of God wants to buy a jet there is criticism so are christians meant to focus on heavenly things and be poor? Anyone that has this mentality is poor because God is the creator of heaven and earth implying that all things belong to you remember you are a royal priesthood. There are certain things that we all do including me until recently I got a revelation that changed my mindset and my determination to be the next billionaire increased.

Christians are not ready to leave their comfortable zone , we all claim the word of God I will be the head and not the tail and very comfortable with your daily work , prosperity cannot come when you have a fixed based salary am I saying you leave your work the answer is NO ,when Jesus Christ wanted to feed the multitude with just twelve loaves and fish it was multiplied in the hands of the disciples implying that God has given you  a certain gift that will make way for you .

Christians are too busy for God , when you are too busy for God what happens is that you wont be able to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit because you are too tired ,time his of great essence when you are determined to be the next billionaire would require talking with the Holy Spirit the truth is that without the Holy Spirit constantly communication would eventually lead to frustration when the time is set to start a business that no one has ever ventured  in that will open the door of prosperity to you but you are sleeping can never manifest.

The attitude of am too busy for God has to stop while studying the word of God recently and read the part that God taught Jeremiah to buy a land despite the fact that Jeremiah was in prison he obeyed and bought it because though Israel was going to be in captivity it is for a period . GOD wants all His children to prosper but you must learn to always wait and lean on Him to teach you to prosper.

ARE YOU TIRED OF LIFE?

Everything aroundyou seem hopeless, there is no one to help  have you ever come to  a stage in life that all that seems to surround you is failure and there is no one talk with?  I have been there before I felt like giving up but thank God I didnt , you will need to analyze what really is making you tired of life. A broken relationship? Betrayal? Debt?

My mindset changed when I realised that the challenge I was facing in the past is not new under the sun implying that someone has gone through that challenge and overcame it ,you are not the only person that owes money neither will you be the last , neither are you the first person to be jilted neither will you be the last, but what makes you a winner is getting up and stronger face the problem , solve it and move on.

As an individual my skin has become so thick not in the sense of physical skin but my perspective of viewing things , I dont allow people reaction affect me when I greet you and you dont respond I approach you  and touch you  the next time I see you  I touch and greet you no one will make me miss Heaven the race is individual when you focus on how people feel and what they will say you will never fulfil anything  in life.

I get excited when it is about God why, dont you have problem you might say? I dont have any problem because for any challenge that rears it head is going straight to my Father in Heaven . The practical steps you must take when it seems something is whispering in your ears negative things is instantly rebuke the thoughts in the name of JESUS Christ then pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you on how to solve the problem.

This morning while cooking I rubbed my lips with chilli pepper unknowingly, it was so painful I washed it yet the pain was unbearable then suddenly I just said Lord I know I was careless  please help me this pain is unbearable and I heard the Holy Spirit speak and said "I THOUGHT YOU WOULD NEVER ASK" immediately the pain left. The Holy Spirit is waiting for you to open your mouth and ask .

Al-Shabab Leader Killed in Drone Strike

Adan Garar is believed to have masterminded the 2013 Westgate Mall massacre in Nairobi

An American drone strike has killed a leader of Somali militant group al-Shabab, the Pentagon confirmed Wednesday.
Adan Garar was hit by a drone missile near the town of Diinsoor, southern Somalia, on March 12, according to the U.S. Defense Department.
Garar is believed to be behind the 2013 attack on the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi that killed 67 people. Death is inevitable
