Seventeen times in two chapters of the Book of Revelation God says "He that has ear let him hear what the Spirit says"implying that you can actually have ear and not hear , you can also hear but not from God . Until you hear from God you are working with severely limited information and keep making mistakes , costly ones.
Hearing from God must become a priority so great, you adjust your schedule and your attitudes to it. Stop shutting out the people God wants to speak to you through they are flawed , God doesnt speak to you through their flesh but through their spirit. Jacob was totally unaware that God was where he was, we need to wake up spiritually eliminate metal clutter avoid self sufficiency and above all desire to hear from God SHALOM
