LEARNING TO FORGIVE

How heavy is a glass of water? That depends on how long you have to carry it. A minute is no problem but after an hour you hand might ache but after 24 hours , you will probably be in a bad shape. In each instance the glass weighs exactly the same, but the longer you carry it the heavier it feels. People will hurt you, sometimes intentionally, other tomes they have no idea they have hurt you You must confront your feelings and when the hurt is deep, it is even harder to forgive that is when you need to pray .Jesus said “Pray for those who mistreat you “.

When you do that something unexpected happens, your heart softens and you start seeing them through God eyes instead of your raw emotions. Issac is a good example  ,during drought he dug wells his enemies moved in and claimed it instead of harbouring bitterness he dug another well .God filled Issac well and promised to bless him and his children too. Who is that person that has hurt this is the right time to forgive SHALOM
