How do you know that God is ever present with you?  The first thought is feelings of reassurance the second thought is guidance maybe when you are stumped with an issue suddenly an idea comes to you, no matter how big or small it helps, it could be about when you are about to say something suddenly a little voice tells you to “be quiet “ which happens to me a lot. Another indication is conviction of sin , you are going down a wrong road suddenly there a little stab of pain saying “turn around” , ensure you heed that voice to avoid guilt ridden.
