DEMOSTRATING LOVE
There was a woman who poured alabaster jar of perfume on Jesus with indignation expressed by a disciple.Luke 7:36-38. Simon the Pharisee saw this woman as a weed Jesus saw as a potential rose and watered it , others may know what you have done but Jesus knows what you can become. Remembering what God saved you from will make you become generous in your love and giving. She used a very expensive ointment when you fall in love with Jesus Christ He opens your heartand your pocketbook.

WAIT PATIENTLY IN THE LORD
The old saying " You cant always have what you want " isn't necessarily true .When you delight yourself in the Lord he will give you the desires of your heart PSALM 37:4. But God always makes you wait..God allows certain things to take place in our lives to teach us important principles like maintaining our faith when times get tough, developing new skills and ways of thinking , showing grace and controlling our responses .
When you spend time in God waiting room He is developing qualities in you that cant be developed in any other way. When He is finished you will come out stronger and wiser.And you will have the maturity to handle what He has in mind for you.So dont let the enemy rattle you or engineer your circumstances that put you into overdrive rather REST IN THE LORD AND WAIT PATIENTLY FOR HIM SHALOM

BE CAREFUL OF YOUR UTTERANCES
The tongue small but powerful ,relationships ,marriages , testimonies have ended in disaster because of an utterance .Like an egg once broken cannot be gathered and become whole again if not used it can become rotten likewise words that you utter if negative leads to rottenness in life endeavour. Your own words have more power to affect you than anybody else ultimately it is not what other says that counts , it is what you say about yourself after they get through talking.
You will never enjoy what God has for you in the future while you are still living in the past . FORGIVE ALL
A lady was upset because her mother in law forgot to ask her to a family picnic .So when her son called on the morning of the event to invite her she replied angrily "It too late , I have prayed for rain. When we are hurting we want someone to pay, so we lash out at the wrong people.
One night after preaching about forgiveness . Corrie Ten Boom recognized that the man approaching her was a former guard from Ravensbruck the Nazi prison camp where she was tortured and her sister Betsie starved to death.When he asked for her forgiveness, she felt she couldn't do it so she told God "I can extend my hand, I can do that much but you will have to supply the feelings ". Corrie never experienced God love as intensely as that why dont you pray as Corrie did when faced with dilemma of forgiving someone that hurt her so bad SHALOM

Some of us are perfectionist when it comes to physical appearances ,yet we think nothing of running around spiritually threadbare.We are more concerned with how we look to others than how we look to God. Chuck Swindol says: The number one enemy of change is the hardcore ,self sustained sin nature within you .Like a spoiled child it been gratified and indulged for years, so it wont give up without a temper tantrum .The flesh dies a slow ,bitter, bloody death kicking and struggling all the way. Lasting change takes place in first gear not overdrive . So expect occasional setback but dont let them derail you SHALOM

God love is the only perfect love it removes our fears.What are you afraid of? fear of losing something or something you fear you wont receive it ?why dont you ask God to give you understanding of how much He loves He prizes ,protects and provides for .You are drawn to people who love us ,so why is it so difficult for us to go to God in prayer? It is because we need a fresh understanding of His love for us . But what does God love look like? Look at the cross if you had been the only person who ever lived Jesus would have died for you. Everything a spider needs to survive and succeed in life ,God put it within it.Swipe it with a broom and before it hits the ground , its fall is broken.It reaches inside releases another protein filled silk like thread slides down, finds a safe place then comes back stronger than ever builds a new web. Everything you need ,God has placed within you ! You have the divine nature of God implying that your future is not determined by who you know or who you dont who likes you and who doesnt rather the power to fulfil your destiny is within you .The warfare over your life and the struggle you are in is what is about what you were born ,called and gifted to do,in others words start producing.

Nobody starts out being good at everything .Tackling new ventures usually means learning by trial and error . When Charles Darrow got married he promised his wife they would become millionaires .But the great depression came and they ended up hitting rock bottom .Darrow was ready to give up his dream but his wife encouraged him to keep going.Then one day he devised the idea of using "play money " to buy "pretend properties" and he turned his vision into a board game with little houses and hotels. It is called Monopoly and Parkers Brothers bouught it from Darrow , you"ve guessed it a million dollars. Remember when you are on the right track and refuse to give up , God can do something great through you .So keep going dont look back Shalom

FORGET ABOUT THE PAST
When God determines your future, He doesnt consult your past. Peter was a fisherman with a hair trigger temper and some antisocial tendencies.Yet God filled him with so much spiritual power that when he preached ,multitudes came to Christ. Zacchaeus a well known embezzler hosted Jesus overnight in his home and ended up becoming a philanthropist. Run was a Moabitess who grew up worshipping idols not a promising start but after turning to serve the living God she became a part of the ancestry of King David and our Lord Jesus Christ.
And how about Paul? Killing Christians didnt put him off limits to God. As an Apostle he wrote half of the New Testament by divine revelation , was taken into heaven where he saw incredible things and when aprons handkerchiefs taken from his body were placed on the sick were healed , now if God could do all that for people with a past . He can give you a new beginning too SHALOM

It very easy to fall into into the trap of believing your fickle feelings more than what God says in His words.And it will take constant act of your will to choose to do things His way rather than your own.But when you do , you will discover that life is more enjoyable when you are living according to God plan.Just as you dont let everybody who knocks on your door come in and make themselves at home, dont let every emotion that surfaces dictates the direction of your day or decide your responses .God is a God of faith and He works in ways that faith, not feelings can discern

WHAT BEAUTY DOES GOD APPROVE?
A lady was applying face cream when her little girl asked "What that you are putting on, Mum?Moisturiser she replied.The saleslady said it would make me beautiful.With an honesty only children have she replied "Mum, I dont think its working .There is nothing wrong with looking good but there much more to you than your clothes and your hairstyle. You can go broke fixing up the outside because "What mother nature giveth,father time taketh away "
It is a big mistake to focus on the outside and fail to appreciate the inner qualities God given you . Solomon said , beauty is not lasting Proverbs 31:30 .When God made you He didn't decorate the outside,He gave you inner beauty ,the gentle, gracious king God delights in .However because Peter also talked about fancy hair, gold jewellery, fine clothes , people sometimes judge and measure people based on that. Paul writes "I want women to dress modesty with decency and propriety for women and profess to worship God.But when you focus on the wrong area you get the wrong results. According to BBC reporter, Isa Sanusi who visited Kano recently, hotels
in Kano state give out this slip to their guests to sign. Here is what
he wrote
"I was in Kano earlier this week to collect material for a feature I'm working on and checked into hotel where I was asked to sign this slip. Every guest at most hotels here are required to sign such statements because of random raids by the Hisbah - the city's Islamic police force. The Sharia officers search the hotels looking for single women, who they always assume are prostitutes".

A leader was needed God ordered each leader to bring a wooden staff with his name on its and leave it overnight in the tabernacle.and the rod that blossom will be chosen. I learnt three things from this you are not a mistake ,from your mother womb you are ordained to fulfill a purpose in life.Aaron credentials included making a golden calf(idolatry),if you were God would you chose Aaron? God hears the cries of our hearts, sees the qualities He can use to fulfill His purpose remembering we are created to fulfill a purpose on earth .Aaron rod blossomed in God presence ,certain things happen only in the presence of God. Rearrange your priorities schedule a set time to meet with God each day and keep it if you dont mistakes are inevitable.

The most misunderstood individual who ever lived was Jesus.Critics joked about His birth,disputed His divine origin,scorned His purposes ,reviled His teachings, were suspicious of His motives ,critical of His methods and angered by His messages.Ultimately they put Him to death on a cross.That explains the Bible verse John 1:5-11 Wherever Jesus went, He was misunderstood and rejected but He endured and by His grace you also can. WALKING BY FAITH IS NOT EASY
When you make up your mind to trust God the odds are usually stacked against you. Remember Noah? When he built the ark there had been no rain! The outcome isn't always what you expect Walking by faith doesnt mean your problems suddenly evaporate.Sometimes faith doesn't change circumstances ,however it changes you by giving you the bravery to hang in there when the cheque doesnt come in , the doctor says "Your problem has defiled help medically ,you lose a loved one the school fees is unpaid .Faith gives you the fortitude to endure these things, confident that God is working on your behalf.
Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.When the plane you are flying encounter turbulence you dont throw away your ticket or bail out you sit still pray to God that your body is not for fish to eat so discount your circumstances dethrone your doubts and start walking by faith YOU WILL TESTIFY SHALOM
