Jesus often prayed all night , yet few of his prayers are recorded why? Because He didn't just talk to His Father , He took time to listen and get instructions . Jesus prayed on mountaintops, gardens, streets Prayer and listening to God was natural to Jesus Christ as breathing it was the spiritual oxygen He thrived on the Bible says "pray without ceasing "it means to stay in touch with God at all times , be spiritually sensitive and attuned to the still small voice of His Spirit within us which means we must have an uncluttered mind and heart. There is more to prayer than coming boldly unto the throne which is usually about what we want , we must  pray about what God wants , God designed the plan of your life, don't you think it is wise to get quiet before Him so that He can tell you about it?

In God plan for your life , He ha planted blessings that you will experience over time , when you are in a field and you don't see a crop doesn't mean that there is no seed , God seed in your life will yield at different times , because you are not experiencing certain testimonies is because the time of harvest is not yet ,you are becoming what God has planted in you . As citizens of God kingdom ,we live by a different value system. Nobody should seek his own good but the good of others . Now let be honest that hard to do and easy to forget because selfishness is a battle we  fight daily. When we begin to win the war against selfishness and walk in love others will notice . We will never win the world by being like them  There is a question we all must answer :How many of your loved ones might come to Jesus Christ if you demonstrated that you genuinely loved them, instead of ignoring , judging or rejecting them ?

LET GOD HEAL YOUR WOUNDS

When a doctor refuses to give you medication despite the pain you are enduring is because they want to know if you are feeling pain and ask you if you feel any pain as they touch you your response will determine the next course of action to administer more pain killers reduce or stop all totally. Pain is a sign of life and love , it offers love of connection . in deep wounds two types of tissues must heal; connective tissue plus the outer protective tissue. If the outer protective tissue heals too quickly the inner corrective tissue wont heal properly leading to complications later . Don’t attempt healing alone ; real healing takes time it takes place where God presence , God peace and God people are . Are you hurting turn to God . His promise is I will heal your wounds JEREMIAH 30:17.

FOCUSING ON OTHERS

When last did you remove your focus from me we tend to be preoccupied with me only and forget about others you ask “How  is it going? Thinking you really want to hear , they start sharing a recent success, suddenly you jump in mid sentence blow their light out and say “let me tell you something ….You are off and running , right over their deflated ego of your friend who is nowwishing that they wished they had kept walking when they first saw you. They had hoped to hear “That wonderful tell me more/ ROMANS 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice. Learn to focus on others .          Listen with your ears, your eyes, your mind and your spirit. Try to understand the , feelings  behind their words, rejoice , mourn when necessary.The acid test of Christian character is your ability to celebrate another success or share their burden as though it were our own .

DARK MOMENT

When the darkness you are experiencing is God ordained , don’t try to creat your own light which can lead to torment when you do that .Peter promised to follow Jesus Christ to death but because he didn’t wait for instruction he ended up looping off an innocent man ears. When you are in total darkness by divine design you don’t have to be afraid , God will bring you through  PSALM 112:4 Light arises in darkness for the upright  and PSALM 30:5 Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. Jesus said “What are I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight there are two lessons to be learnt 1 It is in your worst moments that God gives you some of your best insights 2 People will listen to you because you have earned the right to speak . I AM GOING FISHING

When Peter decided to go fishing that night, he might  have been making a decision to get away from everything and go back to where he first met the Lord which was a wonderful idea ,Sometimes when discouragement  comes we are faced with two decisions  either to go back to the One who can save , keep, satisfy  or go back to whatever was going on in our lives before you met Jesus Christ but the point is that Peter fished all night and caught nothing. Peter was busy working implying that business and barrenness go hand in hand. People work hard and forget their first love beware of anything that competes with your love for Christ. TAKE HOLD WITH YOUR HANDS

Your size doesn't determine your potential , your spirit does, no matter where you start , you can end up in the kings palace. As  long as you are still alive keep producing , you might not produce as much as somebody else but you have to keep producing. You might not able to produce what you used to but keep producing . Jesus taught that some of us will produce thirty fold, others sixty and some hundred fold Matthew3:18 . We don't all produce at the same level but we must produce at some level. Don't be intimidated because someone else is producing more , you are only accountable for what God gives you. Get up and get dressed even if you are not going anywhere, if you cant fly get a car, if you cant get in the car ,run , if you cant run walk, if you cant walk stand , if you are lying down sit up , if you cant sit up wiggly your toes but let the devil know you are still in the game . JUST PLANT THE SEED

A pastor tells about standing at King Cross in Sydney Australia when a shabby looking man tugged his sleeve and said "If you died tonight , where would you spend eternity". The question haunted him until He gave his Life to Jesus Christ .Later a lady from his church testified to a similar experience exactly the same spot. Years later the Pastor visited the area looking for the man sure enough an old man approached him before the old man could speak the pastor said " You are going to ask me if I died tonight where would I spend eternity , right". Amazed the man asked how he knew . The pastor told the old man that the question he asked him years ago and changed his life . Deeply move the old man said "  I was a drunk before I came to Jesus am uneducated I don't speak very well and I could think of was to go round asking people that question. I have been asking it now for eight years and today is the first time I"d any idea I was making a difference . Some people come to Christ on the first call while some take the long route . Your job is not to change people just share the living word and let God change them.,plant the seed and let the Lord of the harvest do the rest

He wont ask you what kind of car you drive but how many people you gave rides to. He wont ask how many bedrooms your house has but how you raised your children and treated your family. He wont ask how many designer names in your wardrobe but who you helped to clothe. He wont ask about your salary but how much you invested into the building of His kingdom . He wont ask about your job title but if you tried to perform with excellence and integrity. He wont  ask how many friends you had but how many people you were a friend to. He wont ask what neighbourhood you lived in but if you loved your neighbour. He wont ask about your politics or the colour of your skin but about the quality of your character . So don't just work hard , work hard for the right reasons

FORGIVENESS

There is so much  good in the worst of us and so much bad in the best of us that we spend much of our lives learning to forgive and forget , and forgetting is harder when the offence is great. Small offences can be forgiven quickly big ones requires a healing process.But until you make the decision to forgive the process cant even begin.
How can you forgive as quickly as the Master forgave you? Paul said "Clothe yourself with tender mercy, kindness , humility,gentleness and patience .Make allowance for each other fault and forgive anyone anyone who offends you . Focus on a person worth not their weakness , turn your heart away from what was  to what can be but why should you forgive 1 because the word of GOD tell you, 2 because you yourself will continue to need forgiveness 3 because you weren't built to carry the stress that goes with resentment.

COME TO THE WATER

Peter didn't walk on the water all by himself , he did it with Jesus. Today Jesus invites you to walk with him and experience His miracles , but the barrier is usually because we don't pray and believe. . Prayers give God an invitation , an entry point through which His miraculous power can flow to change your circumstance , but you have to pray and believe.
Sometimes we think the day of miracles is past there is never a day of miracles there is only a God of miracles and He never changes don't limit Him. Sin can sabotage our confidence and looking at the situation instead of our Saviour . When Jesus told Peter "Why did you doubt" He was saying " Don't allow this storm to overwhelm you. I'm right here with you. Keep your eyes on Jesus your problem is under the feet of Jesus

The problem is the not sower or the seed but the soil. The thorns are the frivolities of life .Do you remember the time when you thought the house you live in now, the career you now enjoy , investments would make all your worries disappear the reality is that the more you have the more to lose, protect , maintain and worry about, that is the deceitfulness of wealth. If your significance as a person is tied to anything other than your relationship with God , worry will choke the life right out of you .True happiness lies in trusting God for what you need , knowing if it is right He will provide it , and not if not He will give you something better.
